Hi, my name is Amber.

I am very fortunate to say that I am "Amber" from "Face Esteem." It gives me such an indescribable feeling to be a part of something so huge. As we turn eyes into butterflies and create miles of smiles my excitement is caused by so much more then our brightly painted people. With every painted person a part of them is revealed that's not often seen. I would like to present to you, your Self-Esteem!

Art has been a passion of mine ever since I was a small child and lucky for me it just came naturally. All through my school years everyone kept telling me you are going to become a famous artist, and don’t let your talent go to waste. So I decided to go to college so I could become an art teacher. Lets just say I wasn’t the only one with that idea. So I got discouraged thinking about the lack of positions available versus all the qualified applicants. I’m not one who likes to waste time and money, although I still received two years of college education in fine arts. Before that I received certification as an Advertising Design Artist from a trade school. I like to believe that things happen for a reason and I felt like I would eventually find my calling . Since I wasn’t getting any younger starting a family became my #1 priority. So I married my wonderful husband Jon and now 4 years later we have two beautiful children.

Now that I have accomplished almost everything I wanted to I still need to find the perfect career. Since Mary is my neighbor, friend, and now co-worker we were always trying to think of the perfect way to be self-employed by doing something we enjoy. We both tried home based businesses which weren’t so rewarding and we still felt like there was something missing. Until Mary had the best idea ever which I'm sure you've read all about. When she told me her idea, I was like this is it, this is our calling.

Painting faces for us isn't about a way to earn money. Its a way to feel good about ourselves by making other people happy. It is sooo rewarding to hear the compliments and see a person’s self-esteem fly through the roof. Our paintings may only last until your next bath but the photos and memories last a lifetime. I love the fact that I can offer others a good self-esteem that is affordable, memorable, safe, and fun. Have you ever heard the phrase that, "Pain is Beauty" well its not! Mary and I have proven that "Beauty is Fun" and we all know that being beautiful makes you feel good! Although we dwell on the beautiful things, we have over 100's of designs for boys and girls. We have tons of cool designs for boys.
